OSHA itself does not certify individual workers in most cases, but people commonly refer to completing OSHA-authorized training as being "OSHA certified." Typically, you enroll in the appropriate course such as OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour training, complete all required instruction, and receive a course completion card from an authorized provider. Employers may also require additional site-specific or role-based safety training.
